Coils, power and e-liquid

The supplied 0.4Ω B Series coil is rated at 25–35W and provides a balanced RDTL vape. The 0.2Ω coil is rated at 50–58W; because the Hero 5 has a 50W maximum, use this coil at or below the device limit and begin at the lowest practical setting. Both supplied coils are designed for airier vaping and work best with lower nicotine strengths and high-VG e-liquid.

Filling and coil care

Open the top-fill port, fill the pod and close it securely. When fitting a new coil, press it fully into the base of the pod, refill and leave it to prime for several minutes. Smart Mode can recommend an output for the installed coil, while Variable Wattage Mode lets you adjust power manually. Use the lock control before carrying the device.

Durability and everyday handling

IP68 protection improves resistance to water, dust and shocks under the manufacturer's test conditions, but it does not make the device indestructible. Keep the charging port dry, check the pod and seals regularly and use the lock before placing the kit in a pocket or bag.
